Motor Oil, a joint Saudi Arabian, and Greek company has completed renewal work on the Saudi Aramco refinery in Corinth, officials said Wednesday.

Two units were added to the refinery and one unit was updated to fulfill European Union requirements, said Mohammed Amir, the Motor Oil representative in Corinth. The two units treat hydrogenise and decrease the level of sulfur in car gasoline. "The work is part of Motor Oil's plans to grow and prosper in the markets of southern Europe," Amir said.

Amir said Motor Oil refinements facilities are the most modern in southern Europe, because they are able to turn low quality crude material into high quality products.

Motor Oil produces 112,000 barrels of refined products daily and has a 2.2 million cubic meter storage capacity. Motor Oil is the only company in Greece that produces lubrication oil. – (Albawaba-MEBG)
