Saudi firm buys property in Sharjah

According to Al-Khaleej newspaper, Mr. Jamal Al-Tarifi, Director General of the Endowment Office in Sharjah, said that the Saudi Konooz Al-Watan Company had bought the "Cooperation Shopping Center" for Dh 95 million and not for Dh 100 million, as a local newspaper mentioned.

 

The Saudi company is planning to invest Dh 1.3 billion in developing and expanding the "Cooperation Shopping Center" and the surrounding area. It plans to build 40-60 storey commercial, residential and hotel towers. The construction operations are scheduled to start within 4 months.
