Saudi internet companies AwalNet, Al-Alamiah and Naseej have recently merged to form the Arabian Internet and Communication Services Company (AwalNet), stated a press release.

Currently, the new company has the largest bandwidth with King Abdulaziz City for Science & Technology (KACST), double that of the nearest competitor. AwalNet Marketing and New Business Development Director, Turki Al-Toaimi, said that the choice of brand identity for the new company is the result of an extensive research among local and international names.

The new company incorporates AwalNet, which belonged to Al-Faisaliah Group, Al-Alamiah Internet, from Al-Alamiah Company, and Naseej, part of Arabian Advanced Systems. The merging into a single internet company resulted from the need to offer a more comprehensive and competitive internet service with fast browsing capability, consistent service quality and reasonable pricing. — (menareport.com)
