Saudi IT spending reached 1.9 percent of GDP in 2003

Information technology (IT) spending in Saudi Arabia in 2003 was 1.9 percent of the Kingdom's total gross domestic product (GDP) compared to the international average of 3.88 percent, according to a new report by Madar Research 

 

PC sales in Saudi Arabia grew by 11 percent in 2003, internet usage increased by 50 percent and mobile subscriptions grew by 40 percent, according to the report. — (menareport.com)
