Figures issued by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) have indicated that the overseas assets grew to 585.9 billion ($156.2 billion) by the end of January 2006, a 3.9% rise compared with the same month last year, Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper reported.
The statistics also indicated that the overseas deposits value abroad grew to SR 101.3 billion by the end of January 2006, a 50% rise compared with the same month last year.
