Saudi pharmacies sell $1.26-billion products annually

The Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry is currently organizing a seminar titled “Private Pharmacies: Actual and Targeted Performance.”, reported the London-based Al-Hayat daily.  

 

Head of the Pharmacies Committee in the Riyadh chamber, Hatem Mukhtar, said that there are more than 3,000 pharmacies in Saudi Arabia, which on average sell one billion Saudi riyal ($266 million) worth of pharmaceutical products and one billion dollars of worth of cosmetics and related supplies annually. ― (MENA Report)
