Eng. Khaled Bin Hamad Al-Yahya, the President of the General Corporation for Railways signed in Dammam on Tuesday a SR. 53 million contract for the supply, operation and maintenance of 200 new two-tier cargo containers.
The 10-months' contract with an American company include the training of Saudi cadres in Saudi Arabia and the United States in spheres of operation and maintenance of cargos.
The usage of containers in the transportation of cargo represents 60% percent of the corporation's income. (menareport.com)
