The Saudi Pharmaceutical Industries and Medical Supplies Company (Spimaco) recently opened new marketing outlets and representative offices in southern and eastern Asia, reported Al-Hayat . The company plans to undertake the necessary procedures to register its pharmaceutical products to be exported in these states.

The expansion will enable SPIMACO to increase its international sales, which currently stand at 33 million Saudi riyals ($8.8 million). SPIMACO experienced a 40 percent decrease in sales in 2001, falling from 394 million Saudi riyals in 2000 ($105 million) to SR 474 million ($126.4 million). — (menareport.com)
