Saudia Sees Record Growth in Passenger Numbers in April

Saudi Airlines (Saudia) achieved a record traffic growth, transporting 2.91 million passengers in April covering 86 destinations, of which were 27 domestic and 59 international.

Since the beginning of 2017, the company has transported 10 million passengers by the end of April, according to a statement published on the company’s website.

In 2016, 30 million guests flew with Saudia.

Saudia has expanded its fleet by adding eleven out of 32 new planes to be received this year, so that the fleet reaches planes aircrafts.

Two new destinations have been added to the airline’s network this year, Multan (Pakistan) and Portsudan (Sudan), and four new routes were introduced, Maldives, Munich, Ankara, and Algiers, the company noted.
