Selrico Services builds new Baghdad mess hall

Selrico Services has recently completed and opened the newest and largest mess hall in Iraq. Selrico in association with other US contractors officially opened The Bob Hope Dining Facility on Sunday, August 24, 2003, stated a press release.  

 

The dining facility was built in the center of Baghdad's International Airport and took about a month to complete. The structure itself is 502 feet long and boasts the capacity to feed over 8,000 people per meal with close to 32,000 meals served per day. 

 

Bob Hope was famous for his dedication to the armed services throughout his career. Hope entertained troops during World War II, the Korean Conflict, Vietnam and recently the Persian Gulf during the early nineties.  

 

Selrico Services US-based inner-city company that specializes in a full range of services from recycling and waste management to food distribution and building maintenance.
