Majid Al Futtaim Investments announced Sunday several new store openings in Sharjah City Centre, bringing the total occupancy of the mall to almost 100% of capacity.
Sharjah City Centre has introduced 12 new brands to its customers. “We’ve seen a sudden boost in all our numbers. Increasing the number of stores makes sense given the business climate of today and the growth opportunities of tomorrow,’ said Mr. Ali Al Abdulla, General Manager, Sharjah City Centre.
Located in the ‘cultural capital of the UAE,’ Sharjah City Centre is now home to over 90 international and local retail outlets, bringing the total area of the mall to approximately 367,000 square feet. Restaurants such as Mini Chinese, Kudu, Chic King, Second Cup and Haagen Dazs have added yet another dimension to the mall’s popular food court. In addition, other stores such as Al-Falak, Disc 2000, News Centre and National Stores have also opened their doors to the public.
Early next month, Sharjah City Centre will take the lead with the grand opening of a brand-name anchor store, which will be announced in the coming weeks.
Redefining the shopper’s experience, Sharjah City Centre aims to set the standards throughout the region. “Current changes within the mall not only reflect our ongoing commitment to our customers, but a constant need to meet expectations, increase sales, and focus on rising demands,” stated Mr. Ali Al Abdulla, General Manager, Sharjah City Centre. “We’re very excited about what lies ahead.” (menareport.com)
