South Korea donates US$6 million of equipment, machines to Iraq

The Iraqi minister of municipalities and public works, engineer Nisreen Birwari, has announced that South Korea has awarded the ministry a grant worth US$6 million. The minister revealed that the grant was in the form of equipment and machines.

 

In a meeting with the South Korean ambassador, the Iraqi minister called the government to have South Korean companies participate in the reconstruction process of Iraq.

 

On his part, the South Korean envoy praised the relationship between the two nations, and announced that his country will continue doing its best to assist Iraq.
