The Sports Café recently opened at Adventureland, the Sahara Center's entertainment center in Sharjah, stated a press release. Like Adventureland, the restaurant is heavily themed from a sports angle. Displays and icons representing various sports, figures and pastimes abound throughout the furniture and décor.
Situated just outside the main area of Adventureland but still on the first level of the Sahara Center, the Sports Café offers a wide variety of food and drinks at reasonable prices. Visitors can expect western-style burgers and french fries, coffee and cold drinks, with much more being planned for the menu.
Aside from the food, the Sports Café also has a soon-to-open internet center with more than a handful of computers to suit avid net surfers. There are full-sized billiard tables where two or four can play. There are video arcade games for older kids and teens.
The concept of Adventureland is a joint venture between Gleeco, a pioneer in entertainment business and Elite, a design, project management and consultancy firm. The merger has created Fun Exchange Corporation, a full service company whose main line of business is the design, construction and operation of indoor and outdoor entertainment and amusement complex. — (menareport.com)
