Strategies defining Dubai's tourism growth top agenda

The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) recently convened their Twenty-Second Travel and Tourism Group meeting, in which strategies were planned to increase the growth of tourism activities in Dubai. 

 

The meeting, which was held at the department's Head Office, also received feedback from the emirate's private sector on their activities and plans to promote the growth of tourism in Dubai. 

 

There was discussion on boosting the Dubai MICE Industry and a separate committee was formed, which will be in charge of formulating a plan to promote the emirate's MICE industry to international consumers. 

 

The coordinators of CIS and Russian inbound, AGCC inbound Destination management Companies inbound and car rental companies submitted their reports about their respective markets. From the business point of view the attendees graded the summer 2002 months extremely positive. — (menareport.com)
