Strong European presence at ArabLab 2005

The presence of a number of leading European analytical and laboratory
equipment manufacturers will be one of the highlights of ArabLab 2005,
the Middle East's largest laboratory and instrumentation trade fair to
be held from January 31 to February 3, 2005 at the Dubai International
Exhibition Centre (DIEC). A range of innovative technology products will
be showcased by companies from across Europe, as they look to target the
promising Middle East market.

 

David Domoney, Managing Director of The Domus Group, the show's organisers
stated, "We have received overwhelming response from European equipment
manufacturers who intend to target the growing Middle East region with
their latest technologies. European medical equipment has for long been
considered among the best in the world, and ArabLab 2005 will be an ideal
opportunity for all the participants to benefit from European technology.
This year, the expo is expected to attract over 700 industry professionals
from over 60 countries making it an excellent platform to present innovative
products."

 

Germany will have a strong representation at ArabLab 2005 through the initiative of SPECTARIS, the German Industrial Association for Optical, Medical and Mechatronical Technologies Inc, supported by the German Federal Ministry
of Economics and Labour and AUMA (Association of the German Trade Fair
Industry), bringing in more than 75 companies. "There is a long tradition
of close contacts between German manufacturers and Arabic buyers. 75 per
cent of the European Union's export of analytical and laboratory equipment
originates from Germany and these exports continue to increase every year.
Comparing 2003 and 2004, export value grew nearly 20 per cent. Taking into
account these figures, exhibitors are very optimistic and look forward
to making new contacts and increasing business in the field of analytical
and laboratory equipment," said Mr. Joachim Giesekus, Director Technology
Consulting, SPECTARIS.

 

Independent German exhibitor SCHOTT DURAN, known worldwide for their consistent high quality, reliability, flexibility in storage, packaging and preparation applications. will for the first time be presenting the laboratory glass product range to end-users in the Middle East. The DURAN laboratory glass bottles are the global standard for the chemical, pharmaceutical and bioscience fields.

 

From Ireland, Audit Diagnostics is introducing a complete range of liquid
ready-to- use reagents for use on all types of routine analysers from semi-automated to fully- automated systems. The company is also showcasing a new and exciting range of products for the Quantitative Point of Care market (POCT). 

 

Finland based Biohit Plc, manufacturers and marketers of liquid handling
products and accessories as well as diagnostic test systems for use in
research, health care and industrial laboratories are showcasing electronic
and mechanical pipettors and their disposable tips. Currently, Biohit's

UK based, The Binding Site Limited is introducing the revolutionary Freelite?

Telstar Industrial, also from the U.K is introducing new models in its

20.

 

European exhibitor Grinstruments is exhibiting the updated VirTis/Hull"
freeze dryer program, the new Hotpack line of Incubators-Laboratory Washers
and Sterilizers, Climate Chambers and 'in-house Gas' Nitrogen Gas Generators
for laboratory and industrial use.
