Edara, one of Dubai’s most successful Project Management companies and a wholly owned subsidiary of Union Properties, recently entered into an exclusive partnership with Dubai Transport to develop and manage the new Dubai Transport Headquarters Building as well as several of their units and buildings.
The agreement is the latest in a long line of projects that have successfully blossomed under the Edara umbrella. Besides the numerous Union Properties projects, Edara also boasts of a portfolio that includes the Commercial Bank of Dubai, Emirates Bank International, Dubai Investment Park, Movenpick Hotel (formerly Holiday Inn), the Private Housing Finance Scheme, Al Tayer Investments, United Arab Shipping and many more high profile developments.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Adel Lootah, General Manager, Edara, said, “Dubai Transport has placed its trust in Edara based on very valid reasons. We pride ourselves in completing projects within budget and stipulated timeframes, thanks to a dedicated team of professional project managers and engineers.”
The total cost of the new head office of Dubai Transport Corporation is AED 51 million, has a one year timeframe for completion and will further add to the diverse array of projects managed by Edara, which already includes villa complexes, office blocks, multi-storey residential developments, hotels, warehouses, workshops, shopping malls and banks. Edara will work in coordination with Dubai Transport from the outset, ensuring that the project is individually tailored and will achieve pre-set objectives, serving its purpose of acting as a transport hub that gels in perfectly with the futuristic vision of the leaders of the UAE.
