Prince Turki bin Saud bin Mohammed, president of King Abdulaziz City of Science and Technology, will be addressing participants of the summit on the topic of venture capital in Saudi Arabia.

The summit will take place on Oct. 25 and Oct. 26 at the Burj Rafal Hotel Kempinski in Riyadh.

The prince will speak to an exclusive gathering of over 250 private equity and venture capital professionals and stakeholders from across the world.

These investors from the Gulf and the wider MENA region are meeting some of the most promising high-potential business cases from around the world at the inaugural MENA Private Equity and Venture Capital Summit, organized by multinational business facilitation company Naseba.

The business cases participating in the summit have been carefully screened for viability and legitimacy, and will be presenting to investors in pre-scheduled one-to-one meetings designed to facilitate quality deal flow.

The summit has also featured a series of speeches, presentations and panel discussions from regional thought leaders.

The lineup of distinguished speakers at the event includes: Badran Al-Omar, rector of King Saud University and chairman of Riyadh Valley Company; and Abdulrahman Al-Ibrahim, governor of Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC).

Additionally, the summit will feature Tariq Abdullah Al-Naeem, deputy minister of trade, ministry of commerce and industry; Abdullah Ali Al-Marwani, assistant deputy of planning at the Ministry of Economy and Planning; Khalid Al-Saleh, CEO of Riyadh Valley Company; and Fadi Ghandour, founder of Aramex, among others.

Jean Philippe, project director at Naseba, remarked: “The summit bridges the gap between entrepreneurs, investors, financiers and legislators and is specifically tailored for this region. GCC countries are nations of prosperity and opportunity, with unique benefits and challenges.”

The director added: “The MENA Private Equity and Venture Capital Summit has been designed to provide private equity and venture capitalists from the GCC with best-in-class methodologies to help them enhance their investment strategic planning and performance management. Naseba is proud to work with Riyadh Valley Company to create this ultimate deal flow platform.”
