Sun Microsystems Middle East & North Africa has enhanced its strategic focus on the Middle East region based on projected growth, including several key customer projects that are increasing the company's regional market share.
As a result of increased opportunities in this market, and the ease of operating its regional headquarters here, Sun will now manage the entire Southern and Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) region from its base in Dubai.
Regionally, Sun has a Middle East-based Solution Practice Team to provide support for its new customer initiatives. This group will focus specifically on the architecture, deployment, and support of enterprise resource planning (ERP), data storage and disaster recovery solutions for end-users in the region.
