Syria’s Haska woodlands stand at 36,000 hectares

Over 36,000 hectares of woodlands are currently growing in Syria’s Haska district, according to Al-Baath daily. On average, approximately 3,000 hectares are reclaimed and planted with trees in this district yearly. This year, some 4,100 hectares was reclaimed for tree farming. In addition, two million saplings were grown this year to be planted in the region in the future. — (Mena Report)
