Syria has carried out a contract of exporting 4,000 tons of cotton oil seeds produced by Aleppo Oils Company to Australia. "The first shipment has been sent according to the contract which renewed annually and it came within the framework of the company’s efforts to open new exporting markets.", director general of the Aleppo Oils Company Zeyad al-Sabagh said in a statement to the Syrian daily newspaper <i>Al-Thawra</i> published Sunday.
The director pointed out that the company began two years ago to export to Egypt and other Arab countries.
