The Arab Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states and Syria signed in Riyadh Sunday minutes of an agreement for free trade between the two sides.
The minutes of the accord were signed by Dr. Yusuf bin Tarrrad Al-Sadoun, the Undersecretary of the Saudi Foreign Ministry for Economic and Culture Affairs and the General Coordinator for the negotiations on behalf of the GCC, and Undersecretary of the Syrian Ministry of Economic and Commerce Dr. Mohammad Ghassan Al-Habash, according to SPA news agency.
It included 19 articles which aim at boosting trade exchanges through the immediate canceling of all customs tariffs and taxes after the two sides approved the accord. (menareport.com)
