Syria seeks to increase its oil production

Syria is planning to increase investments in local oil and gas excavation activities, reported Al-Sharq Al-Awsat. The Euphrates Oil Company, which produces 350,000 barrels of petroleum per day, is expected to receive a few hundred million dollars for developing its infrastructure. 

 

The Deir Al-Zour Oil Company, which produces 60,000 barrels of oil per day, recently launched a $420 million gas production development project. The Syrian Oil Company, which produces 130,000 barrels of petroleum per day, is targeting foreign investments to expand its oil production in northeastern Syria. — (menareport.com)
