Tamweel honors major UAE real estate players

This year's annual Tamweel Awards, which recognize significant contribution to the UAE home finance provider, marked the achievements of 21 of Dubai's major property developers, banks and other established institutions.

 

The event, held at the Emirates Towers Hotel on Sunday night, awarded 21 business partners and affiliates, including Emaar Properties, Dubai Sports City, Sorouh, Jumeirah Islands, ETA Star, Vaksons, Deyaar, Betterhomes, Landmark, Emirates airline, Dubai Holding, ABN Amro, Dubai Islamic Bank, ENSEC, Emirates Islamic Bank, The National Investor, DIB Sharia Coordination, Cluttons, Dubai Land Department, Nakheel and Bates PanGulf, according to Gulf News. The companies were recognized for their contribution towards the growth of Tamweel PJSC, which was launched in March 2004.

 

This year’s award ceremony marks the third consecutive year which Tamweel has honored the outstanding achievement of certain firms. The event was attended by Shaikh Khalid Bin Zayed Bin Saqr Al Nahyan, chairman of Tamweel, as well as UAE dignitaries, industry officials, and a host of property developers, and real estate agents.

 

A Dh1,000 donation for every guest who attended the ceremony was made for charity, including at least Dh300,000 for  the Mohammad Bin Rashid Humanitarian and Charity Foundation to support Lebanon’s post-war relief efforts.
