The Ras Al-Khaimah (RAK) office of Tanmia, the National Human Resource Development and Employment Authority, was recently opened by Crown Prince of RAK, Sheikh Saoud Bin Saqr Al-Qassimi.

Located in the center of RAK, this is the sixth office of Tanmia, after Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Fujairah and Ajman.

Tanmia was established in November 1999, to address the imbalance in the labor market, due to excessive dependence on expatriate workforce. Tanmia is engaged in a coordinating role, between national job seekers and employers in the private and government sectors, to facilitate increased entry of nationals in the labor market. — (menareport.com)
