Comtrust, regional e-business solutions provider, is continuing the expansion of its Comtrust Solutions Partner (CSP) program with the addition of Techlogix. This brings the number of partners signed up in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Qatar, Jordan, Lebanon and Pakistan to 10.
Techlogix is a technology services company specializing in Enterprise Applications, B2Bi and Enterprise Application Integration (EAI). Founded in 1996, Techlogix has offices in Boston, Houston, Dubai and Lahore. Under the agreement signed, Techlogix will market and sell the comprehensive portfolio of e-solutions, offered by Comtrust, which is a business unit of UAE national telecom, Etisalat.
“The e-business market in the Middle East is growing fast. Online payment transactions made through the Comtrust network in 2002 show a growth of 400 percent over 2001, giving a clear barometer of the developments made in the security and authorization of online technologies as well as the increasing faith of consumers in those advancements,” said Ahmed Abdul Karim Julfar, Comtrust General Manager.
“Early in 2002 Comtrust made a strategic business decision to establish a network of CSPs in order to increase our market reach and we have since signed up several companies with an in-depth knowledge of the region’s e-business market,” he added.
Based at Dubai Internet City (DIC), Techlogix is currently taking advantage of the world’s first free trade zone, to enable e-business related enterprises to operate globally from a base in Dubai.
Comtrust was established by the Emirates Telecommunications Corporation (Etisalat) in 2000, to bridge the gap in the market for a secure e-business solutions provider. — (menareport.com)
