Technip enters accord to develop Russian oil, gas projects

Technip and Yukos, Russia's second largest oil company, entered into an alliance to develop oil and gas field surface facilities and pipelines in Russia. Technip Germany and N. K. Yukos signed the alliance on Jan. 31 in Moscow.  

 

Under terms of the agreement, Technip and Yukos will jointly develop selected projects on an exclusive basis and provide services and supplies related to field production, processing and transportation facilities.  

 

The alliance's first project will be surface facilities and pipeline systems in Siberia's Tomsk region whereYukos intends to increase field production, improve efficiency of facilities and adapt them to international standards.
