The site will also be the regional headquarters of the Bayer Group, and will showcase an innovation centre displaying various high-tech products and innovative manufacturing technologies utilising Bayer MaterialScience raw materials. “Our new site at TechnoPark is the ideal base for BaySystems Pearl and the Bayer Group’s Middle East headquarters. It is strategically located between the Jebel Ali Port and the new, upcoming Jebel Ali airport allowing for excellent logistics and easy regional travel. Bayer is happy to be here.” says Stephan Rosenthal, Managing Director of Bayer Middle East.
As the leading provider of Polyurethane systems for the construction, automotive and comfort industries in the region, BaySystems Pearl will now be closer to one of its most vibrant markets. TechnoPark MD Hamad Al Hashemi said: “We are happy to provide BaySystems Pearl its base in TechnoPark. They have chosen the right place to operate from. TechnoPark is keen to ensure that its clients have the ground advantages, both in terms of technological and infrastructural support.”
“The timing of the new tie-up is significant. Dubai is focusing on turning itself green on energy conservation and environment protection. As providers of Polyurethane insulation systems, which play major role in green building concept, BaySystems Pearl will have a key role in the effort,” Hashemi said.
TechnoPark is now positioned as the premier technology facilitator, with specialised clusters that can meet the demands of any modern high-tech facility. Its efforts to promote technological transfer have prompted many innovation-oriented companies to pitch base there.
