TNT/SAB Express is rolling an industry-first road-haulage service into Saudi Arabia with the freight express provider tipping it will generate $1.5 million in the first year and 10 times that in five years.

The integrator's Economy Express road network service is well established in the other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and Saudi Arabia "is the last piece of the Gulf jigsaw", says TNT/SAB Express General Manager for Saudi Arabia and the other GCC states, Mark Pell.

Dubai is the hub of the Economy Express service in the Middle East with imported consignments flown in from all over the world. Pell says the ability to have machinery, oil rig equipment and replacement parts flown into Dubai and trucked to the Kingdom via Bahrain is already generating many inquires from the oil industry. — (menareport.com)
