The total value of land transactions in Dubai yastarday amounted to Dhs297.48 millions, of which sales exceeded Dhs12 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs285.9 million, according to the Land Department.
A total of 5 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the day, the most valuable of which was a plot in Mardaf that was sold for Dhs5 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Al Mezhar Second acquired for the sum of Dhs2.574 million and another in Muhaisanah First for Dhs1.44 million.
The Al Mezhar Second area was the most active in terms of the sales, with some 1 transactions. Al Satwa followed it with one sale.
During the period, Mardaf recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs5 million, followed by the Al Mezhar Second area, Dhs2.57 million, and Muhaisanah First area, Dhs1.44 million.
The biggest area sold was the 19800 sq ft in the Al Mezhar Second area, which went for Dhs2.57 million. A 12000 sq ft plot in the Muhaisanah First Area was acquired for Dhs1.44 million, while 10125 sq ft of Mardaf was disposed of for Dhs5 million.
During the period under review 3 mortgages worth Dhs283.1 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs200 million for an area at Muhaisanah First. There was another for Dhs82.6 million on an area in Marsa Dubai.
