The total value of land transactions in Dubai yastarday peaked at Dhs145.11 millions million, of which sales exceeded Dhs100 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs44.81 million, according to the Land Department.
A total of 8 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the day, the most valuable of which was a plot in Marsa Dubai that was sold for Dhs74.292665 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Nad Al Shiba acquired for the sum of Dhs6.9621585 million and another in Al Warqa First for Dhs6.29904 million
During the period, Marsa Dubai recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs74.29 million, followed by the Nad Al Shiba area, Dhs6.96 million, and Al Warqa First area, Dhs6.3 million.
The biggest area sold was the 48690 sq ft in the Marsa Dubai area, which went for Dhs74.29 million. A 42194.57 sq ft plot in the Nad Al Shiba Area was acquired for Dhs6.96 million, while 19088 sq ft of Al Warqa First was disposed of for Dhs6.3 million.
During the period under review, 6 mortgages worth Dhs44.81 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs38 million for an area at Al Mamzer. There was another for Dhs2.5 million on an area in Al Barsha Third and a further sum of Dhs1.85 million registered on an area of land sold in Al Goze Industrial Third.
