The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) officials chalked out a comprehensive and exhaustive marketing strategy aimed at promoting Dubai in a high level meeting held recently with the representatives of Dubai tourism and service industry at the department's Head Office.
DTCM Director General, Khalid A. bin Sulayem who chaired the meeting acknowledged the support and co-operation of private sectors in generating visitors' traffic in the emirate and lauded the growth of tourism in Dubai as marching on the right track.
DTCM announced that now travelers to Dubai will be paid back full refund by their tour operators in case of cancellation of their trip to the emirate. This will boost customers' confidence and satisfaction.
The attendees voiced their satisfaction over increase in tourism business in the emirate. They welcomed forming a committee to co-ordinate with local and international tour operators as well as hotels to generate confidence and better understanding between public and private sector. — (menareport.com)
