According to a new update, Twitter will now let users embed SoundCloud tracks into tweets and Twitter Moments. Now, Moments users can include tweets with SoundCloud embeds, and start listening to tracks with a simple swipe to the right or left.
This may not seem like much to some, but to those who depend on SoundCloud to get their music popular, this can be a great source for some extra promotion. For example, users such as Stereogum has already launched a playlist of its favorite songs of the moments, demonstrating how it can be used for music discovery. As of now, there are just a couple of brands doing it, but once the feature is fully active, it will pick up.
