United Arab Emirates (UAE) entrepreneur Najib Taleb Nasser announced plans to franchise his Grano brand of coffee shops. Grano Coffee expects to open between eight and 10 branches in the coming months and is actively pursuing plans for international operation, according to a company press release.

The first outlet was opened in Wafi City just six months ago. Grano offers its customers wireless internet facilities with lap-top computers available. Grano Coffee also expects to shortly commence their own coffee roasting operation in Dubai,

“Coffee is such an important part of our culture and heritage I wanted to create something truly local which could rival the best in the world, but which would also take the serving and enjoyment of coffee a stage further,” Najib said.

“Now we have proved the concept,” says Najib “we are ready to move into the next phase of expansion by franchising the Grano brand. We have already received enquiries from Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, and are in negotiation with a number of potential owners for branches in popular locations in Dubai and other emirates.”

“Franchisees can expect a total package,” says Najib. “In addition to the very best coffee, we provide a total package comprising help with identifying a suitable location, feasibility studies, business plan, staff training, operations manual, marketing and so on. We work very hard to ensure the Grano name is synonymous with quality, and have all the infrastructure in place to ensure it is delivered across the board.” — (menareport.com)
