Mr. Vassilis Skronias, First Counselor for Economic & Commercial Affairs of Embassy of Greece in Dubai, said that the volume of bilateral trade between the UAE and Greece jumped to Dh 1 billion ($Euro 242 billion in 2005), up from Dh 585 million Euro 130 million) in the previous year. These figures translate into a 115% growth. He said that the value the UAE's imports from Greece amounted to Dh 909 million (Euro 209 million) last year.
