As a part of the UAE government attempts to control the real estate market, the RAK Real Estates Department (RRED), in cooperation with RAK Economic Department ( RED ), has started issuing ID cards for the representatives of the real estate agents in the emirate.
The card authorises its holder to follow all the transactions of the office with the different government and private institutions like registration of real estate with the RRED. According to Khaleej Times, the card is issued only to the real estate licensee or one of his employees.
