A recently issued study shows that the volume of the total money transfers (including expatriates' remittances, companies profits and foreign grants) to outside the UAE increased to Dh 51.5 billion in 2005, up from Dh 38 billion in 2004, a 13% rise.
Meanwhile, the study estimates the volume of the total money transfers (including expatriates' remittances, foreign companies profits and foreign grants) to outside the UAE to reach Dh 58 billion by the end of the current year of 2006.
