A top official at Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) has said Gulf and Arab investments should be encouraged to make use of natural and human resources in Sudan. "Investors should join hands to promote cooperation with the economic sector in Sudan," said DCCI's director general Abdul Rahman Al Mutaiwee as he met Thursday a Sudanese business delegation, WAM reported.
The volume of non-oil trade between Dubai and Sudan rose to about Dh 688 million in 2003 as compared to Dh 466 million in 2002 and Dh 216.4 in 1999.
