The United Arab Emirates is participating at Yemen 7th International Trade Fair, to be held at Sana'a from 9th, May to 14th May 2005.
A press release issued by the Media & PR Department of the General Exhibitions Corporation (GEC) stated that the UAE is participating in this exhibition, which is considered one of the largest trade exhibitions as 18 countries are participating.
GEC is organizing the UAE pavilion in cooperation with the UAE Federation of Chambers of Commerce & Industry supported by the Ministry of Finance & Industry, the Department of Economy – Abu Dhabi and the Ministry of Economy & Planning. Many institutions, public departments, factories, corporations and companies, regardless if they belong to the public or private sectors, are concerned about participating in the exhibition in order to represent the UAE decently. The pavilion set to showcase all national products which gained good reputation and sold best. Made in UAE played a prominent role in introducing these products to the international market.
This participation is the fourth for Made in UAE in Yemen. Ever since it participated, Made in UAE in Yemen achieved to maintain good reputation, which affected the export industry and marketing national products. It was also mentioned that the organizers will set a huge pavilion for the UAE especially after the resounding success of its last edition at Sana'a during the 6th Yemen International Trade Fair held in 2004. This participation resulted in contracts amounted 70 million dirham and was the gateway for national products to the Yemeni market.
25 leading factories and companies in addition to number of corporations and governmental departments, amongst them the UAE Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Ajman Chamber of Commerce & Industry; are to participate in the exhibition.
Organizing "Made in UAE" is hoped to expand the trading horizons, enforce the economical activities of the country, enlarge the exports and to reaffirm on the economical relations between the UAE and other countries.
Organizers are smoothing the mission of exhibitors, since they provide them with special facilities in cargo and travel and accommodation arrangements, to name few.
The statement ends by praising the efforts of participants which are considered the best in the country. Further, it highlights that the UAE products managed to establish good reputation for the high quality it enjoys and good prices.
