UAE Shortens Working Hours for Three Months, Starting June 15

The UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation announced reduced working hours starting June 15 to September 15.

UAE, Qatar Announce Reduced Working Hours In Ramadan

Working hours will be reduced by two and a half hours, the ministry announced.

This midday break rule has been implemented keeping in mind the intense heat during peak summer months in the UAE.

Last year, too, the ministry had announced a midday break during the same period, and urged companies and workers to follow the rules.
