British Energy Minister Brian Wilson was concluded a three-day visit to Algeria last week to discuss the possibility of importing liquefied natural gas (KNG) from the North African producer to the UK in the future. Algeria is the EU’s second largest oil and gas supplier, after Russia.
Wilson met President Abdelaziz Bouteflika and Prime Minister Ali Benflis, while an accompanying commercial mission, including representatives from 20 British companies, held talks with officials at Sonatrach, the Algerian state oil and gas company.
