UK Group opens chemical plant in Sharjah

International industrial chemicals company Nimir (NCCL) has opened a speciality industrial chemicals plant at the Emirate of Sharjah's Hamriyah Free Zone. 

 

The 10,000 square meter facility, named Nimir Speciality Chemicals (NSC), will cater to the industrial chemical needs of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states as well as the European Union, South Asia, Africa and Far East/ASEAN industrial centers.  

 

“We will be the region's unique, integrated manufacturer of unsaturated polyester resins (UPR) for the fibreglass industry, textile processing chemicals (preparation, printing, coloration, and finishing) for the textile industry plus polymer emulsions and specialities for the paint industry,” noted CEO of NSC, Chris McNulty.  

 

NCCL is an international chemicals company based in Dubai with subsidiaries in Pakistan, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Egypt. It is owned by Nimir Holdings, the holding company of the UK-based Nimir Group. — (menareport.com)
