The month of March saw the housing prices ease from that of the month prior, according to RICS. A survey showed that the number of real estate agents reporting falling home prices outnumbered those reporting pricing increases by 73.1% in March. In February, the same figure came in at 78%, a sign that the rate of mortgage market deterioration may be slowing down. Early estimates believed that the number would come in at 77%. The London area, however, disappointed estimates with the number of agents reporting such figures at 47% than those reporting the opposite. Estimates called for the city to actually show a price rise bias of 37%.
