A substantial group of British security companies are lining up to launch their products and services during the first Middle East Police and Law Enforcement Exhibition and Conference (MEPLEX), taking place at the Dubai Police Academy from October 6 – 9.
The British Group appearing at MEPLEX feature the United Kingdom (UK)'s West Mercia Constabulary Firearms Training School and also on display will be some of the very latest law enforcement technologies and equipment for drugs/explosives detection, counter-surveillance and radio detection, electronic facial identification programs, handcuffs, thermal observation cameras and protective footwear for specialist operations.
The British group has the support of the UK Government and has been coordinated by the UK trade body, the Association of Police and Public Security Suppliers (APPSS), whose police and marketing experts will be on hand throughout MEPLEX to help show attendees.
Organized by Streamline Marketing, MEPLEX will be held under the patronage of General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, UAE Defense Minister and Head of Dubai Police Department.
