UAE University in Al-Ain has signed a deal with Dubai based Al-Bannai Enterprises for the use of 'NetOp School' software - a powerful new tool to enhance PC-based training for students.
The software used in classrooms and computer laboratories enables teachers to monitor and assist remote student screens and also disseminate their own or student's work to the class; a task which would otherwise be performed traditionally. UAE University has obtained 2000 licenses for the program, which is currently used in more than 30 courses, by 75 faculty members and 1100 students.
