ALBAWABA - Despite criticism of its continuous support for Israel, the Biden administration is preparing to pay $1.3 billion in new military aid, according to the Wall Street Journal (WSJ).

WSJ reports that the US provides Israel with steady military aid, citing official sources. The source suggests that the Biden administration will approve a $1.3 billion arms sales package for tank munitions, military vehicles, and artillery.

This transaction would be one of the greatest US military aid packages to Israel since October 7th. This effort is distinct from Congress' $26 billion Israel funding package, according to the story.

WSJ reports $700 million for 120-millimeter tank munitions, $500 million for tactical vehicles, and $100 million for 120-millimeter artillery in the scheduled deal.

Although the fabrication and delivery of lethal weapons to Israel may take months, the Biden administration is apparently speeding up the clearance procedure.

Israel Support Package from Congress

House Speaker Mike Johnson acknowledged the crafting of separate Ukraine-Israel aid bills. President Biden backs these policies. The public learned about three measures providing aid to Israel, Ukraine, and Taiwan. Note that the measures include a $26 billion Israel support package.

After Saturday's House debate, the legislation will head to the Senate. President Biden has pledged to sign these bills immediately.
