Vintage Petroleum’s Yemen drilling underway

Vintage Petroleum has initiated its second exploratory campaign in the Republic of Yemen. The first well in the current program, the Osaylan No. 1, is currently drilling at 3,869 feet with a projected total depth of 7,350 feet. Primary objectives are the Alif and Lam formations. Vintage has a 75 percent working interest in the 850,000 acre S-1 Damis block and is operator.
