Wade Adams Contracting gets DSC contract

Dubai Sports City (DSC), the world's first integrated purpose-built sports city, announced Monday that Wade Adams Contracting (LLC) has been awarded the contract for the advanced grading works of the 50 million sq. ft. site area, with work to begin immediately, the official WAM news agency reported.

In the course of the advanced grading works, expected to take up to 90 days, over 100 bulldozers, earth moving machines and other heavy plant vehicles will move almost five million cubic metres of sand to enable full construction on the site to commence, according to a press release issued Monday.

 

The first phase of Dubai Sports City which includes the stadia, Sports academies, Victory Heights "Golf residential development", international schools and shopping mall is set for completion by the end of 2007.
