Wärtsilä continues to expand its boiler services with the acquisition of the boiler services business of International Combustion Engineering’s (I.C.E.) former subsidiary in Dubai. The acquired boiler service business, which currently employs seven people, will be integrated into Wärtsilä in Dubai.
This transaction follows Wärtsilä’s acquisition of the Denmark-based International Combustion Engineering A/S (I.C.E.) announced in April of this year and completes the acquisition.
Wärtsilä’s entry into the new field of boiler services improves the company’s position and competitiveness as a leading total services provider. This latest acquisition in Dubai will further expand Wärtsilä’s geographical coverage in providing boiler service support to customers throughout the Middle East.
