Weir Techna has opened a branch in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Weir Techna Saudi is a wholly owed subsidiary of The Weir Group and has been established in partnership with Ali Al Zaid.
“The Saudi Arabian market offers tremendous potential for Weir Techna, and for the Weir Group as a whole, and builds on our success with the desalination plant awarded earlier this year to Weir Techna by Kindasa Water Services of Jeddah," said Divisional Managing Director of Weir Techna, Paul Capell.
Weir Techna has experience in all forms of desalination including Multistage Flash Evaporation (MSF), Reverse Osmosis (RO) and Mutiple Effect Distillation (MED). Other areas where Techna has a desire to assist in the development of Saudi Arabia's infrastructure includes the provision of absorption chillers for airports, gas turbine inlet air-cooling and gas storage. — (menareport.com)
