Western Digital, a manufacturer of hard-disk drives, has opened a distribution center in the Middle East, which will ensure rapid delivery of its products throughout the region. The new distribution center at Jebel Ali Free Zone, which is the company's Middle East hub for its products, will streamline the supply chain of products from the manufacturer to the customer.
The center increases the efficiency of shipping Western Digital goods from its manufacturing base at the Sungei Way Free Trade Zone, Petaling Jaya, outside Kuala Lumpur to Jebel Ali Free Zone.
With all the products being shipped together to the new facility in Dubai, Western Digital has provided a more flexible distribution system to meet the changing and independent needs of its distribution customers.
Western Digital provides products and services for people and organizations that collect, manage and use digital information. Its core business, hard drive solutions, produces drives that keep users' data close-at-hand and secure from loss. — (menareport.com)
